10 year old boy with a direct trauma to the genital area (kick) two days prior. Because of continuous pain and increasing swelling, presented in the ER:
massive swelling of the scrotum, significant hematoma, clinical evaluation by palpation impossible

Hemophilic hemorrhage  

Immediate surgical therapy. Testicular suture healed unproblematically. Sonographic examination showed no atrophy, good vascularisation.

Classification of the trauma was based on the SOUVAGE classification.
